retrocomputers.gr: Interview with the Video Game Museum
I’m sure most of you have recently heard about a very impressive video game museum that opened in Crete.

It’s a truly beautiful space where you can explore the entire history and evolution of video games—from their beginnings up to today—featuring a wide variety of consoles, handhelds, a few old computers, and even some arcade cabinets!
Beyond just viewing the hardware, the museum also has dedicated areas for seminars, events, and other activities. There are also themed sections, such as a recreation of an old-fashioned children’s bedroom.
I had the honor and pleasure of interviewing the creator of the museum, Manolis Varouhas, who also happens to be a longtime friend of mine. You can learn all about the above and many more details in the video of the online interview we conducted via Zoom.
The Video Games Museum is located at:
20 Pediados Street, 71201, Heraklion, Crete
